About
Donald G. McDougall is the founder and president of Eternal Truth Ministries, an organization that is devoted to encouraging believers to renew their commitment to a dependence upon the Word of God. Don travels extensively challenging church members and church leaders with the truths of God’s Word and with exegetically-driven principles and priorities that are so crucial to the life of each believer and each church. In addition, he recently concluded 37 continuous years of preparing men for ministry through seminary training as the Associate Professor of New Testament at The Master’s Seminary, where he taught for over 20 years. Prior to that, he taught in the New Testament Department at Talbot Theological Seminary for 13 years. He also served with SIM in Nigeria, where he taught Hebrew, Greek and Systematic Theology at Igbaja Seminary. Don began his pastoral ministry over 45 years ago and he continues to minister in bodies and provide assistance to pastors who are serving in ministries around the world. In addition, he also serves in an advisory and supportive role with Community Bible Church of the Northwest in Battle Ground, Washington, where his son, Stephen, is the pastor. Don and his wife, Perlene (who has a very effective ministry to women), are now in their 49th year of marriage. They have four children in addition to two sons-in-law and one daughter-in-law and fourteen grandchildren. A great deal of their time is spent in the southern part of Washington State, where 7 of their 14 grandchildren live. They also continue to spend a good portion of their time in Southern California, where they have served faithfully for over 40 years.
